I just entered a small regional illustration contest with the prompt:
Simple Simon met a pieman,
Going to the fair;
Says Simple Simon to the pieman,
“Let me taste your ware.”
Says the pieman to Simple Simon,
“Showme first your penny.”
Says Simple Simon to the pieman,
“Indeed I have not any.”
Of course I procrastinated until the last possible day, but I managed to put together an image I’m proud of even though I only had one afternoon to work on it!

Also, today I learned that overnighting an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper costs almost twice as much at FedEx as at the Post Office, but their drop-off time is eight hours later.
